2006 NGO Forum on Human Rights
The 2006 Forum took place on 24 June 2006 in the Conference Centre in Croke Park. The main theme for the Forum was Global Human Rights Protection – the Way Forward. The Forum was opened by Minister of State, Conor Lenihan, T.D. and speakers at the Forum included the Deputy UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Erika Feller, and the BBC journalist and author, Fergal Keane.
