2001 NGO Forum

The 4th NGO Forum took place on 21 July 2001 in Dublin Castle. The main themes of the Forum were Human Rights and Development, the World Conference against Racism, and the incorporation of the European Convention on Human Rights and compliance with International Human Rights Instruments.  The Forum was opened by Minister of State Tom Kitt, T.D. and the keynote address was given by Professor Gerald Quinn, NUI Galway. Speakers included Mr. Ronan Murphy, Senior Advisor to Mrs Mary Robinson, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.Top
